Asset Passport
What high-value property you own.
PPID format: OWOS-ASST-XXXX-XXXX
What it is
Identity for durable, individually distinguishable physical property with a claimed value of at least $500 USD at application — graded cards and collectibles, art, antiques, pottery and ceramics, jewelry and watches, musical instruments, professional equipment, heavy equipment, industrial machinery, agricultural, power-generation, medical, broadcast and commercial systems. Value alone never qualifies an item: durability, a distinguishable identity, category-appropriate evidence and reviewer approval are all required. Ordinary consumables and bulk interchangeable inventory are out of scope; titled conveyances belong to Vehicle Passport and buildings to Structure Passport. Exact values are private by default and OVIN never guarantees appraisal, authenticity, legal title or market value.

Where OVIN stops
Durable, individually distinguishable physical property only. Ordinary consumables, bulk interchangeable inventory and items with no distinguishable identity are out of scope, as are titled vehicles (Vehicle Passport) and buildings (Structure Passport). Value alone never qualifies an item, a later drop in value never revokes a passport, and exact values stay private unless the owner opts in. OVIN never guarantees appraisal, authenticity, legal title or market value. Maintenance, inspections, checkout workflows, listings and depreciation belong to Work, Fleet and Marketplace.
Issuance is not open yet. The schema, authority contract and review flow are in place; Core opens issuance for this class from the release registry — no rebuild required.
